Making Contributions

We offer a variety of easy and convenient ways to submit and pay your employees' contributions.
 

Submitting contribution information

It's important you provide your contribution information - such as the employees you're contributing for and the amount per employee - so we can process your payment correctly.

The easiest way of submitting contribution information is online via EmployerAccess, with two options available:

  • eForm - enter contribution details directly into EmployerAccess. Recommended for small employers with up to 20 employees and without a payroll system.
  • Upload facility - provide contribution information in a spreadsheet or attach a file directly from your payroll system. If you select this option, our Employer Service Centre will contact you within 48 hours to help you set up the facility.

Payment of contributions

We provide two options for you to pay your contributions:
  • EmployerAccess Online Payment - pay your contributions by clicking the 'pay' button online. This sends a message to your bank to transfer the money from your account to REST. You have control over the total amount of the contribution and the day for the transfer to take place.
  • BPAY® - pay your contribution using BPAY from an account with a bank or financial institution. Your individual BPAY details are available in EmployerAccess.

If you wish to pay by a method other than EmployerAccess, you should contact us on 1300 305 775 to discuss your options.

Contribution checklist

Check that you have:

  • Supplied all new members’ TFNs
  • Made the right amount of contributions for all employees
  • Noted and included payments for any voluntary contributions
  • Advised us of new or terminating employees
  • Advised us of any change of details for yourself or REST members
  • Submitted a 'nil' contribution if you are not making a payment for the contribution period.
