About Core Strategy
Core Strategy is an actively managed investment and the default option for REST members. This means the asset allocation is reviewed regularly by REST to take into account current market conditions and opportunities.
For example at the end of the Global Financial Crisis, REST recognised that many securities were undervalued. As a result, we increased our exposure to the equity and debt markets to take advantage of this opportunity.
