Insurance

Insurance cover in REST Personal is voluntary and you can apply for different types of cover to suit your needs. REST Personal offers:

  • Death only insurance. This provides a lump sum or pension to your dependant(s) in the event of your death or if you become terminally ill.
  • Death Plus Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD) insurance. This provides a lump sum or if chosen a pension, if you're sick or injured to the extent that you're not expected to work ever again.
  • Income Protection (IP) insurance. This pays an income in the event that you're unable to work for up to two years due to injury or illness.

There are a number of benefits of insuring through REST Personal. REST's large membership allows us to negotiate great insurance deals on behalf of our members. Your spouse can also apply for insurance cover as a spouse member for REST.
