How we invest
REST invests widely in many different investment markets using a range of investment strategies. Many of REST's investment options have allocations to a diversified mix of investments which helps to minimise the impact of a particular type of investment which performs poorly.
How we manage different investments
Different investment markets and strategies require different expertise, so we appoint professional investment managers who specialise in particular areas.
The role of investment managers
We set target returns for each class of investment. It is the role of the investment manager to meet or exceed these returns whilst working within the risk guidelines we set.
How we monitor performance
We appoint/engage a professional investment consultant, JANA, to monitor the performance and capability of all of our investment managers.
